I haven't read a lot of fantasy, but something about this story made me want to read it. I'm so glad I did!Not only does it have some really exciting "in air" battle scenes, but I found the characters of Rylen and Tain to be so interesting. Their relationship was almost like a third character in the story.
When I had finished reading this story, I wished it wasn't over. I wanted to know more about these two human/dragon hybrids. I also loved being given a visual of what they looked like. This was a great help in making those scenes come alive. This visual aid is just one of the "extras" the author has made available to his readers.
I want to hear more about these two fascinating warrior dragons and intend to pick up the rest of the series as it is available.

Joshua Rigley is THE most powerful sci-fi fanstasy author I've ever read! "Honor Duty" will addict you to his writing from the first paragraph. His characters endear and awe you simultaneously and you will find yourself thinking about them later, wishing to be a part of their world. I can't wait for more from this out-of-this-world gifted writer!
